By sharing knowledge and experience, organisations keep their skills set and competences up to date. Through a regular review process, they keep learning from their successes and failures. They value learning both for the common good of the organisation and in a personal level. They also encourage questioning, challenging discourse and prudent risk taking, and expect all members to keep growing together. Organisations are always seeking for change and growth; yet, change does not always simply occur. More often than not, there can be no change without active learning. Therefore, knowledge is pivotal for the effectiveness of individuals and teams, and ultimately the organisational itself.
