There is a second, ‘hidden self’ in most individuals. If you already know yours, try to improve it. If not, then now is the time to discover it.It takes a great deal of courage to put one’s self at risk for the common good and this is one of the biggest challenges towards self-improvement.

It is also hard to develop the ability of empathising with others. It takes great skills to be able to discern someone’s hidden self and it is necessary to try and improve your ‘reading’ skills. Once you master this, use your newly acquired skills to help others improve.

Self-sabotaging behavior results from a misguided attempt to rescue ourselves from our own negative feelings. Founder and CEO, Greg Moran, argues that this hidden self is largely responsible for the wrong choice of associates, thus having a negative impact for the goals of the company and the culture within the workplace. This is an ill-disposed aspect of your hidden self that you are responsible for discovering and enhancing.
